MOT

I offer a free consultation to all new students

I would love for you to share with me your hopes and expectations from our yoga sessions and for your own personal practice. This is absolutely optional!

Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, here’s a short list of considerations which might trigger thoughts or ideas about your ideal yoga journey, which you can share with personally. I will give you a short questionnaire to complete but this list might be helpful as a starting point. There are of course no right or wrong answers and many of these points are closely interlinked / overlap.

  • Yoga for fitness. Your focus is primarily on fitness aspects similar to a gym-style class.
  • Yoga for enhanced tranquility and stress management
  • Yoga for pain management
  • Yoga post injury
  • Yoga for runners or athletes
  • Yoga for dancers
  • Yoga for flexibility
  • Yoga for strength
  • Yoga for spiritual growth
  • Pure meditation ( which style, if any, do you have experience of or interest in? )
  • Styles
  • Themes
  • Equipment
  • Experience level
  • small group ( either with your friends or you can join a pre-existing group )
  • With friends or to make new friends?
  • Philosophies / concerns about any religious contradictions? ( there are none incidentally!)
  • Three things you wish to enhance through yoga practice?
If I cannot help you personally ( eg. I’m not specially trained to work with those who are in recovery from certain conditions and injuries ) I am connected with many wonderful and experienced teachers and practitioners and will happily connect you.
